OctoTable offers two interface display modes:
1. Core User: has access to a limited number of settings, reducing the complexity of the experience.
2. Smart User: has access to advanced configuration settings.
Note
In the FREE version, all users are set as Core users and do not have access to advanced configuration.
To access the Smart user mode, you need to upgrade to DigiMenu, Premium, or EVO from the section Subscription > Upgrade.
What changes between Core User and Smart User?
The main differences between the two modes concern the management of services and schedules, and the configuration of rooms and tables.
Attention
The difference between Core and Smart users only concerns the level of configuration complexity you want to reach for your restaurant. The features available in Smart mode are still dependent on the plan you have purchased.
Why should I switch between Core and Smart users?
This allows you to choose whether to configure everything with just a few clicks—though with less flexibility—or to add a higher degree of complexity to fully customize your account.
