Are you organizing a special event for Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, or Easter?
With OctoTable, you can pause your regular services and accept bookings exclusively for your special events!
How does it work?
Start by reading our guide on how to create special events.
Once you’ve saved your event, the system will ask you if you want to pause the regular service, scheduled for the same date and time.
Here are your options:
Yes: The regular service will be paused and will no longer appear for the selected dates.
No: Both services (regular and special) will remain bookable.
⚠️ Important note: If you select no and you’re connected to "Reserve with Google," this connection will be interrupted in case of overlapping services, as duplicates are not allowed.
Within the reservation page, the paused service will not be bookable for that specific date,
You will then find the special event for the specific dates
while on Reserve with Google for specific dates you will find booking times and special service settings!
How to view paused services?
In the Services/Opening Hours section, paused services will be marked with a pause icon next to their name. Hover over it or click the icon to see the dates when the service was paused.
How to remove a pause?
To remove a pause, click on the pause service icon and select the trash symbol next to the pause you want to delete.
